Welcome to the NaturePEI blog at WordPress !!

NaturePEI is a new name but perhaps you will recognize us as The Natural History Society of Prince Edward Island which is a long name but it lets people know a bit about our organization.  Many of our counterparts across the country adopted shorter names and we recently adopted NaturePEI as both the name of our website and a sorter form of our full name. The longer name will help describe things, but we hope that gradually our fiends will find our shorter name handy.

Much like The University of Price Edward Island which has become know as UPEI over time we hope that NaturePEI will become an easy name for people to remember.  Easy to find on the web is important these days  – so we will be quickly launching our new website NaturePEI.ca to help share with the Island community and all those with an interest in the Prince Edward Island, our publications, upcoming programs and the ongoing research efforts of the organization and its members.
