As part of its 50th anniversary, Nature PEI committed to celebrating this
special anniversary throughout 2019 and updating the organization’s history was undertaken as a companion piece to a history of the first 20 year completed by Margaret Mallet which covered 1969-1989.
A massive undertaking, Nature PEI is grateful that the long serving editor of the Island Naturalist, J. Dan McAskill took on the role of researching and writing this excellent history.
