At Nature PEI\’s upcoming AGM, Don McLelland will share his photographic journey to find all 32 species of wild orchids on PEI.  So far Don has found 30 of the known species, and hopes to find all 32 species by the end of summer 2021.   Don took up photography as a hobby after his retirement in 2009, chronicling Island nature through his camera lens. He has explored a good portion of western Prince County and regularly contributes his finds from this under-surveyed area to iNaturalist.

Location: Beaconsfield, the Carriage House, corner of West and Kent Street, Charlottetown.   

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, all participants must pre-register by contacting Barbara Dylla (b.dylla@eastlink.ca).   We ask that when pre-registering participants advise whether they will be attending as an individual or as part of a household group so the seating can be set up properly.  Due to limited seating, preference will be given to members.
