Nature PEI, The Natural History Society of PEI, participated in the 2024 Winter Woodlot Tour on Saturday, January 27th, at the Glasgow Hills Trails. It turned out to be an excellent day, with overcast skies, little wind, and some fresh snow efficiently tidied up before the event started. Big thanks to the organizers, made up from four watershed groups (Trout River, Central Queens, Hunter-Clyde, and Wheatley River) and a legion of volunteers. Nature PEI had a table of our recent publications and some old chestnuts and favourite guidebooks, and had many conversations with some of the over 900 visitors about citizen science and species at risk on PEI.
