From July 15 to August 15, the City of Charlottetown and Nature PEI will host a month-long BioBlitz to celebrate and document the biodiversity found right here in Charlottetown.
Throughout the BioBlitz, there will be five in-person opportunities to learn how you can use iNaturalist to help local organizations monitor biodiversity in Charlottetown:
Wednesday, August 5 | 6:30-7:30 p.m. – Beach Grove Nature Trails
Saturday, August 15 | 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Baseball Club House, Victoria Park

Everyone is welcome to join, from families and beginners to seasoned nature lovers.
Participating in the Bioblitz is simple. Use the free iNaturalist app to take photos or audio recordings of wild plants, animals, fungi, and insects that you find in Charlottetown. Your observations will automatically be added to our Bioblitz project on iNaturalist for researchers and local nature org
