The Great Backyard Bird Count: This global bird count happens each February, and this year it runs from February 13 to 16. Participants spend at least 15 minutes birding in their favorite places – whether it is their backyard, their local park, or nearby birding hotspot – and submit their observations via eBird or Merlin.
