2026-27 Audubon Christmas Bird Counts in conjunction with Birds Canada:
This winter, there are four Christmas Bird Counts scheduled for PEI, namely: the East Point CBC on Saturday December 19th; the PEI National Park Count on Sunday December 20th, the Hillsborough CBC Sunday on December 27th and the Montague CBC on Sunday January 3rd, 2027.
It is winter and the counts are weather dependent so any of these might be rescheduled should storms intervene. Please note that birders who live within a count circle can participate from home.
If you are interested in a particular count, please contact the volunteer coordinator for the area through Nature PEI at naturepei@mail.com
The coordinators are: Dwaine Oakley for East Point; Dan McAskill for PEI National Park and Hillsborough; and Scott Sinclair for Montague.
