| Love Nature? Can you spare some Volunteer Time? Join the Nature PEI Executive! |
| Nature PEI is welcoming new Executive (Board) members in 2026– to be made official at our AGM on January 6th, 2026. Rosemary Curley, outgoing president, extends an invitation to Nature PEI members and supporters to join the Executive. The eight-member board is having a transitional year and is looking for volunteers to fill the roles of PresidentVice-PresidentTreasurerand Program Coordinator The term is only one year, and the main qualifications are an interest in and an appreciation of nature. The meeting commitment is once a month in Charlottetown (October to June), conveniently before the monthly public meeting. If projects are shaped to your interests, you may wish to extend your volunteer time. The first three roles are self-explanatory, and the Program Coordinator helps select and organize the fascinating presentations at our monthly meetings. There are plenty of experienced current and former Executive members to help you learn any of these roles. Nature PEI is concerned with nature conservation and promotes the enjoyment of natural history on Prince Edward Island. Interested in helping nature education and community science on PEI? Want to meet some amazing naturalists and citizen scientists? Have a bit of time to keep a long-standing Island Society running? Then join the Executive of Nature PEI! Or perhaps recommend another.
