The first meeting of the year is Tuesday, January 7th, starting at 7:30PM with the Nature PEI Annual General Meeting and election of the Executive. After a short raffle break, the evening’s presentation will start around 8PM with UPEI PhD student Eleanor Glahn on ”Assessing the status of cotton-wool disease in brook and rainbow trout in PEI rivers”. The meeting location is Beaconsfield Carriage House, corner of Kent and West Streets, in Charlottetown. Meetings are free and all are welcome. Membership in Nature PEI is $20 annually collected at the first meeting of the calendar year, and besides supporting the Society’s work, gives you access to the latest Island Naturalist newsletter.
