Sept. 24, 2011  The Bennett Birding Classic is bird count in support of Natural Areas Conservation. This Birding Classic takes place September 24th. You may choose to gather pledges in support of the lead team, or better yet – form your own team! There were 81 species spotted in 2010. This event has been an annual fund raiser for the Nature Trust since 1995 and $17, 517.75 has been raised to date. Contact Island Nature Trust (admin@islandnaturetrust.ca) to make a pledge or enter a team.
